This Tuesday our Melbourne office hosted a client forum for our Melbourne based clients, which specifically focused on how to utilise aXcelerate’s workflow automation and consequently save considerable time on administrative tasks.
This is the fifth client forum that has run during 2017 and is part of aXcelerate’s ongoing commitment to ensuring our clients are getting the most out of their student management system. It has also provided a great opportunity for aXcelerate to demonstrate some of our new features, which clients may not be aware of currently.
One of these particular features is workflow automation, which despite being added to our feature suite earlier this year, hasn’t been utilised by all of our clients.
Consequently, our Managing Director Reay Mackay spent the majority of Tuesday morning going through the abilities and benefits workflow automation can provide RTOs.
The key benefit of Workflow Automation is that it allows an RTO to automate continuous and scheduled operational tasks. These include automated course related enrolments, scheduling reports to run each week and scheduling emails to be sent to specific users based on a saved report.
Workflow Automation can also help in the scheduling of particular tasks to be executed based on time, certain program events or statuses.
Reay then went on to demonstrate how these automated tasks could be ‘triggered’ to work so that clients could replicate these same triggers in their own aXcelerate system.
Melbourne was the first location of this workflow-themed forum, with similar forums to be recreated in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth over the next few months.
In addition to demonstrating the workflow feature, the Melbourne forum also gave Reay the opportunity to hear client’s valuable feedback; what they value most in a student management system and how we can work together to achieve their desired outcomes. We would like to thank all of our clients who attended the Melbourne forum. These forums are as only as successful as the contributions made by participants, so it was great to hear all of your positive and constructive feedback.
We hope that this level of participation is continued as these forums are presented in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.
The next forum will be held in our Brisbane Head Office on the 8th of November. For those interested in attending, please don’t hesitate in contacting us.
The dates for the Sydney and Perth forums will be announced soon, so stay tuned to both our weekly blogs and aXcelerate monthly Newsletter. There will also be a second Melbourne Forum on Workflow Automation, for clients that missed out on Tuesday’s session.
In the meantime, you can find out more about the workflow automation feature here.
