Over the last few month’s aXcelerate have been busy prepping and preparing for the 2015 National VET Conference hosted by VELG training- the largest annual national gathering of VET professionals, including practitioners, managers and administrators. The conference is always a highlight in the aXcelerate calendar and now the event is finally upon us.
The conference has kicked off today with a welcome speech by the Honourable Gail Gago MLC, the South Australian Minister for Employment, Higher Education and Skills. From there, VELG has launched a range of exciting presentations and networking opportunities which will continue until the closing of the conference at 4:30pm tomorrow afternoon. All presentations will focus on this year’s theme -‘Reconnecting VET’- and discuss how we can ‘reconnect and build upon’ all aspects of the VET sector including Policy and Reform, RTO Management and Compliance, Training and Assessing, RTO Administration and Master classes.
This year’s conference is a particularly exciting one for aXcelerate as we are using the conference as an opportunity to release some new and exciting features:
- Our new mobile site which enables users access to the key functions of aXcelerate while on the move
- Our updated reporting framework which provides a wider range of filters and data display options to give users more powerful and flexible ad hoc reporting capabilities
- Our new workflow engine which can schedule and automate the execution of multiple business tasks
- Our new in-built Tin Can SCORM engine which will ensure a much richer learner experience for our user’s students
All of these features aim to provide training providers with as much ease and convenience as possible when managing their training organisation. aXcelerate aim to do all the heavy lifting, while clients can ‘take a break’ and relax; the key theme of our beach inspired booth this year.
For anyone attending the 2015 VET Conference and interested in finding out more about our student management system, you are more than welcome to say hello! It’s the perfect opportunity to sit back and take a temporary break from the hustle and bustle of the conference schedule.
