We are thrilled to announce that we have opened a new aXcelerate office in Sydney. Since launching in 2009, aXcelerate have amassed a large client base in our home-state of Queensland. However as we’ve grown over the last few years, we’ve seen an increasing amount of new clients based both in Sydney and Victoria. Following on from our successful office opening in Melbourne, we are looking to Sydney to help further our growth and development and we’ll be ramping up our sales and service operations within NSW over the coming months to achieve this.
After Victoria, NSW has the second largest number of training organisations across Australia and is given the second largest amount of total government funding, receiving 27% of total dollars allocated to government funding (IBISWorld, 2015).
Furthermore, NSW had the second largest number of students studying within the Vocational Education and Training system (VET) following on from Victoria. In 2014 Australia’s National Centre for Vocational Education and Research (NCVER) recorded 560 300 student enrolments within the VET system in NSW, which was an increase of 0.1% from the previous year. This is more than double the number of students enrolled in the VET system within Queensland, which had 264 000 students enrolled during the same year.
These statistics suggest a favourable climate for aXcelerate to expand our operations and indicate that a Sydney office is the logical next step to continue our growth and development.
Our Sydney office will be managed by Chris Verner, who is our Business Development Manager and has been working with aXcelerate since 2009. A key goal for aXcelerate has always been to “create a world class student and training management system that people love to use, and supported by service with H.E.A.R.T”. We intend to maintain this objective as we gradually grow and expand our operations in NSW and across Australia.
Both Chris and the rest of our aXcelerate team are looking forward to catching up with our current NSW clients as well as meeting many new RTOs and discussing their training and management needs. We will be organising formal catch ups in Sydney over the coming months, to provide both current and prospective clients the opportunity to meet with Chris and learn more about aXcelerate’s features and future projects. We will be sending the dates for these catch ups via email and posting them via social media shortly so stay tuned; Chris looks forward to catching up with you all!
