An important goal within aXcelerate is the constant development of our student management system. This goal ensures that we are consistently remaining relevant and innovative within the VET market and that we are always meeting our client needs.
One of the best ways to do this is to effectively collect client feedback. Our clients know better than anyone on what makes a good student management system and what features will help or hinder the effective management of their training organisation. Therefore, listening to client suggestions in order to enhance aXcelerate further, is a no-brainer.
In order to accurately capture feedback and make the process accessible and easy for clients, aXcelerate created an ideas forum late last year. This forum has become a place where all aXcelerate clients can view, vote and post any suggestions they have for aXcelerate’s further development. Our development will then look through this forum each week, to keep track of all new ideas posted. When they find an idea that has been voted on by numerous clients, they will then add the idea to their development schedule.
Since starting the ideas forum, aXcelerate have been able to complete 25 idea submissions posted by clients. Four of the most popular ideas voted upon were:
- Verifying USI’s for a single contact within aXcelerate
- Attaching files directly to an email template
- Being able to search through aXcelerate contacts via their workshop booking status
- Filter through duplicate contacts when conducting a contact search, by date of birth and/or email addresses.
These four features are already being implemented and utilised by the majority of our clients and the development team aim to bring many more client ideas ‘to life’ as the year goes on.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all clients who have provided or contributed to the ideas forum so far. Your ongoing feedback is instrumental to aXcelerate’s continual growth and development.

If you have an idea that you think would help facilitate the management of your organisation, this is the place to post it. Who knows? Another client may have already posted the same idea, which you can then vote on. The more votes an idea has, the higher a priority the idea becomes when our development review the latest posts.
